Virginia Lee Dvonch, age 77, of Ocala, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 9th, 2024. She was born on March 31st, 1947 in Pikeville, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Clyde and Wanda Wright. The Wright family relocated to Flat Rock, Michigan. Virginia, (better known as Ginger to her family and friends), attended public school until her sophomore year when her family relocated to New Boston, Michigan. Ginger attended Huron High School in New Boston where she graduated in 1965. Ginger was very active in the Huron High School Band.

During her senior year of high school, Ginger met Elmer Dvonch (better known as Dan to his family and friends). They dated for two years then finally married on June 18, 1966, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Waltz, Michigan. Ginger and Dan had three sons. They raised their children in Waltz, where Ginger was active in the church. She taught Sunday school, participated in the Hand Bell Choir for 20 years, and worked as a Church Secretary. Ginger worked at several secretarial positions before she attended college to become certified to sell insurance. Ginger worked at State Farm for 14 years. In 2001, Ginger and Dan relocated to Ocala, Florida, where Ginger worked in the land title business until 2010 she retired.

Ginger (the oldest of 6 children) was preceded in death by her mother and father, Wanda and Clyde Wright, son Robert Dvonch, and brother Kenneth. She is survived by her husband, Dan Dvonch, son Scott (wife Lisa) of Sour Lake, Texas, son Kevin (wife Heather) of Troy, Michigan, granddaughter Allison Schifano (Ryan) of Howell, Michigan, grandchildren Emma Carney of Chicago, Illinois, and Liam Carney of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Ginger is also survived by her sisters Phyllis Broad, Patricia Cox and brothers Michael Wright and Charles Wright, and nieces and nephews.

Ginger enjoyed her family, being active in church, and taking various cruise vacations. Visiting various countries on their cruise trips, Ginger collected souvenirs from each place she visited. She has a spoon collection as well as a love of a collection of dolls.
