To the Editor:

On vacation, I drove by Ocala and it’s sad.

The same thing is happening in Lakeland and we all want managed growth but our commissioners don’t agree.

It’s all about tax dollars.

You also see this all over Florida with farmland being erased. More and more building is being done closer and closer to natural wetlands. This, unfortunately, is happening all over Florida, and Florida is no longer an inexpensive place to live.
