A guest speaker will provide a free lecture on blacksmithing, and lead a class at an Ocala park this weekend.
The two day series will begin on Friday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Fort King National Historic Landmark, which is located at 3925 E Fort King St. in Ocala.
Friday will focus on Blacksmith Jacob Underhill, while he demonstrates his blacksmithing skills throughout the day. This event is free, and all ages are welcome.
The series continues Saturday, September 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On that day, Blacksmith Jacob Underhill will lead a class on the basics of blacksmith using portable forges. This class cost $100 and is for ages 16 and older.
