I am an Ocala resident and public servant who is disgusted by these political stunts

To the Editor:

I am a long time resident of Ocala for over three decades and have been a public servant for over a decade. I dearly love my beautiful, scenic roadway and am furious that it’s being tarnished by this political stunt.

The current divisive political climate is shoving a religious/governmental proclamation down everyone’s throats, like it or not. Believe what you want, honor what you will, but keep your opinions out of my home.
