Yvonne K. Riley, age 73, passed away on January 14, 2026, at her home in Ocala, Florida.
Yvonne was a retired military veteran and later served as a correctional officer for the Grayson County Detention Center for 15 years. She dedicated much of her life to helping others and worked and volunteered with the American Red Cross for many years.
She enjoyed sewing, crafting, knitting, and spending time with her best pals, Molly and Kit Cat.
Yvonne attended Southwestern High School in Hanover, Indiana. She briefly attended Hanover College and later graduated from Western Kentucky University.
She is survived by her two daughters, Dawn Marie Jones of Leitchfield, Kentucky, and Crystal Ann Southworth (Mike) of Leitchfield, Kentucky, and one stepdaughter, Tara Lynn Sallee of Clarkson, Kentucky. She is also survived by her sister, Betty Sexton of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and her brother, Charles McCormick Jr. (Sandy) of Madison, Indiana.
Yvonne was a loving grandmother to six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary E. Stout; her father, Charles McCormick; and her brother, Harold McCormick.
She also leaves behind her very special friend, Kaye Clodfelter.
