The city will host its third annual bluegrass music festival this weekend with several nationally known bands and food trucks.
The Brick City Bluegrass Festival will return to Citizens’ Circle (151 SE Osceola Ave) on Saturday, February 7, from 1 to 7 p.m.
The all-ages, outdoor music festival will feature nationally known and local bluegrass bands, including Bronwyn Keith-Hynes featuring Jason Carter, Lonesome River Band, Authentic Unlimited, Becky Buller with Ned Luberecki, and The Flattlanders.
The full event schedule is as follows:
12:30 p.m. – Gates open.
1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. – The Flattlanders
2:15 p.m. to 2:50 p.m. – Becky Buller
3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. – Authentic Unlimited
4:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. – Lonesome River Band
5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. – Bronwyn Keith-Hynes ft. Jason Carter
In addition to live music and entertainment, the Brick City Bluegrass Festival will feature a variety of food trucks, including The Krafty Kettle, Brick & Ember Pizza, Country Boyz BBQ, and The Dancing Empanada.
Festival attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Coolers will not be permitted inside the event area.
Tickets currently cost $30 per person in advance, or $40 per person at the gate. They will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until the event sells out. Tickets cost $10 for veterans, and are free for ages 8 and under.
