Betty Blackburn McDonald, 75, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026, in Ocala, Florida. She was born on February 10, 1951, in Jolo, West Virginia.
Betty will be remembered for her strength, creativity, compassion, and love for her family. She was a very talented woman who had a gift for designing beautiful jewelry and creating floral arrangements for many special events. She was also a dedicated caregiver who spent much of her life caring for others with kindness, patience, and love. Her caring spirit and generous heart touched the lives of many, and the memories she created will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Allen Roberts and Earl McDonald.
Betty is survived by her son, Jason Allen Roberts and his wife, Julie Roberts; granddaughter, Addison Roberts; stepdaughters, Peggy Gray and Rita Murrah; brother, Jerry Blackburn; along with many extended family members and dear friends.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, and she will be deeply missed.
