Robert C. Clapp, age 83, of Ocala, FL formally of Toledo, OH, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026. He was born November 18, 1942 to the late Robert S. and Dorothy Clapp in Toledo, OH. On July 17, 1982, Robert married the love of his life, Rose M. Clapp, she resides.
Robert will be lovingly remembered by his son, Robert G. (Stacy) Clapp, granddaughters, Ava and Maya Clapp. Also, he leaves behind his loving, sweet sister, Carol Viall and many other family members and good friends. Robert is preceded in death by his daughter, Kelly Jo Clapp.
After graduating Libbey high school, he attended the University of Toledo, earning a degree in Industrial Technology. He also served six years in the Army National Guards. Robert dedicated his career of 43 years to the automotive/farming glass industry with Libbey-Owens-Ford (Pilkington).
Many will remember Robert for his work ethic, kindness, and loving Jesus. He enjoyed golfing, craft shows, his marriage, his church, and his five dogs!
As per Robert’s request, there will be no funeral services.
