Robert “Bob” Earl Putman, 88, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, and a life built with his own hands. Born on August 9, 1937, in Gloversville, New York, Bob was the son of Milton and Dorothy Putman, who instilled in him the values of perseverance and hard work that would guide him throughout his life.

Bob spent his teenage years working on his family farm, where he developed the strong work ethic that became his hallmark. In his younger adulthood, he owned and operated a mobile home business, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and practical skill. Later, he served as a business manager for a housing company in Tennessee, where his steady leadership and dedication earned the respect of colleagues and customers alike.

A craftsman at heart, Bob built several of the homes he and his wife, Sandra, shared over the years. Bob and Sandra were married on February 14, 1997, beginning a partnership defined by love for one another.

Bob is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra, who was his constant companion and the center of his world, and his cousin William Springer (Shirley) of Ocala, Florida.

He will be remembered for his steady hands, and the deep pride he took in providing for those he loved. His life was one of purpose, resilience, and quiet strength, and his memory will remain a blessing to all who knew him.
