David Wayne Gair, known to many as Dave, passed away on June 10, 2026, in Ocala, Florida, at the age of 64.

Dave was born on January 27, 1962, in Denville, New Jersey, and he carried the values of hard work, loyalty, and kindness throughout his life. He was a man who believed in doing what was right, helping others whenever he could, and living with a generous spirit. Those who knew him will remember a steady and dependable presence, someone who could always be counted on and who gave of himself without hesitation.

He found great joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. Dave loved being outdoors, especially when he could go hiking, and spending time surrounded by the beauty of nature. He appreciated seeing animals in their natural surroundings and found peace and happiness in the quiet of the outdoors. These moments brought him a deep sense of contentment and reflected the way he enjoyed life with appreciation and wonder.

Above all else, Dave cherished time with his family. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and companion whose love for his family was evident in all he did. He is survived by his children, Melissa Nickles and her husband Kevin, and Sean Gair, as well as his beloved grandchildren, Mackenzi and fiancée Sawyer, Kiera, Reagan, Logan, and Aspen. He is also survived by his brother, Kenny Gair, and his loving girlfriend, Cindy Hudson. His family was the center of his world, and the memories they shared with him will remain a lasting source of comfort and strength.

Dave was preceded in death by his brothers, Kevin Gair, Harmon Gair, and Pete Gair, as well as his parents, Harmon and Leona Gair. He carried the memory of his loved ones with him throughout his life, and those who have gone before him now welcome him with peace.

He will be remembered as a hardworking man who faced life with determination and integrity. He was selfless in his actions and generous in his heart, always willing to lend a hand or offer support to someone in need. His kindness touched many lives, and his quiet strength left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Dave’s life was one of love, service, and devotion to others.
