Why should I care about Israel? If you do, why don’t you move there?

“Peace is right, Peace is good. I want peace for the world. However, Israel is just another country. If certain Christians want to overly attach themselves to Israel, then they can move there. But my tax payer dollars shouldn’t be going to condoms for Gaza, or military aid for Israel, or transgender plays in South America. What’s the difference? Helping any of these causes does not help me or my community- if we get right-sided, then we can help. Charity begins at home. Helping Israel didn’t stop 9/11. I am sorry that the Holocaust or American slavery happened but I wasn’t there and have nothing to do with it. We have so many homegrown problems – like we have deployment of military forces in American cities right now. Um, that’s a problem. Social Security is heading to a financial cliff, that’s a problem. Affordability and health care are two very serious problems. Being pro-America first is not antisemitic, just because I chose to put my family and community first, like our Vice President J. D. Vance encourages us to do. It simply means America first. As the metaphor goes, let’s put our own oxygen mask first before we try and help others.” – An Ocala resident shares her opinion.
