A 40-year-old Ocala woman was arrested Wednesday night on drug charges after a K-9 alerted on a vehicle in which she had been riding as a passenger.
Nichole Marie Nebinger had been a passenger in the vehicle that was spotted speeding at about 10 p.m. on County Road 462.
A K-9 alerted on the vehicle, indicating the presence of drugs.
A plastic bag containing cocaine was found on the floor, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. A digital scale was found in the door pocket on the passenger side of the car.
Nebinger was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of drug equipment.
She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $3,000 bond.
