An Ocala woman was busted with marijuana after a traffic stop Thursday night in The Villages.
Madeline Blair Butler, 20, had been driving a silver four-door Honda Accord at 10:46 p.m. at County Road 466A and Canal Street when a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy noticed the vehicle had a headlight out.
While the deputy was writing a written warning for Butler, a K-9 unit arrived on the scene. The dog alerted on the vehicle. Butler handed over a plastic bag containing marijuana.
She was arrested on charge of possession of marijuana and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. Bond was set at $1,000.
