Donald Franklin Branson, 84, peacefully passed away on July 21st, 2018 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. He was born in Ludiwici, Georgia on March 7th, 1934.
Donald was the loving husband to his one and only love of 61 years, Betty Branson. He was a loving father to daughters Debbie Fabian (Jef) and Karen Crockett (Bob) and an adoring grandfather to grandsons: Eric Fabian, Matthew Fabian, Andrew Fabian, Garrett McCafferty, Austin McCafferty and 8 great grandchildren.
Donald was the owner of Branson Construction and Shores Sand Mine. He loved fishing, hunting and was an avid gardener.
The family will be having a celebration of life at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home on SIlver Springs Boulevard on Thursday 7/26/18. Viewing will begin at 5:30 and the celebration will start at 6:30.
