Daniel Fred Koehler, 86, of Ocala, Fla., passed away Jan. 12, 2019.
Born in Berrien Springs, Mich., he moved to Florida 1.5 years ago from his retirement residence in Irons, Mich.
Mr. Koehler was a retired fruit farmer and farmed in Watervliet, Mich. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, member of Irons Bible Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Sharon; children, Tamera (Patrick) Mark, of LaPorte, Ind., and Scott Koehler, of Kalamazoo, Mich.; brothers, Paul and Edward Koehler, of St. Joseph, Mich.; grandchildren, Brittney, Kaela, Aryn, Jordan, Rachel; and great-grandson, Wallace.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to Hospice of Marion County, Legacy House or the hospice of your choice.
