An Ocala man was arrested Sunday night after falling behind on his child support payments.
Keshad Damon Blunt, 26, was arrested on a writ of bodily attachment shortly after 9 p.m. and transported to the Marion County Jail. He was being held in contempt of court over the $1,197 he owes in child support, a sheriff’s office report states.
Blunt, who lives at 3 Juniper Drive Ct. in Ocala, is no stranger to the Marion County legal system, having been held in the jail 10 times since March 2011. During those arrests, he’s faced charges – some more than once – of possession of marijuana less than 20 grams, driving while license suspended or revoked, domestic battery, trespassing (property), obstructing justice (intimidating or threatening a victim, witness or informant), possession of cocaine, battery (dating violence), operating a motor vehicle with no valid driver’s license, assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting without violence.
Blunt also was arrested in February on outstanding warrants for failure to appear in court on charges of possession of cannabis less than 20 grams and driving with license suspended or revoked.
