61-year-old woman jailed after agent claims she offered him oral sex

Dorothy Montez Schneider

A 61-year-old Ocala woman with a long criminal history was jailed on a prostitution charge early Thursday afternoon.

An agent with the Unified Drug Enforcement Strike Team (UDEST) made contact with Dorothy Montez Schneider, who was walking in the area of the 1700 block of S Pine Avenue. During the encounter, the agent reported that Schneider agreed to provide him with oral sex in exchange for $20, the report says.

Another agent then made contact with Schneider and placed her under arrest. She was transported to the Marion County Jail and charged with solicitation of prostitution. She was released Thursday night on $1,000 bond and no future court date has been set.

Schneider is no stranger to the Marion County legal system, having been held in the jail 19 times since October 2005. During those arrests, she’s faced multiple charges for theft, drug, prostitution, fraud and driving with license suspended or revoked, jail records show.

UDEST is an initiative of the North Florida High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area. It is comprised of local, state and federal law enforcement from the Ocala Police Department, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Drug Enforcement Administration and Department of Homeland Security.
