A renovated county facility in Silver Springs Shores will officially open its doors to the public this week as the Marion County Public Library System’s newest branch.
The grand opening celebration for the Silver Springs Shores Public Library is scheduled for Thursday, July 23, at 10 a.m.
The new facility replaces the former youth center at 525 Spring Lake Road in Ocala, situated just west of the Silver Springs Shores Community Center.
The adaptive reuse project was funded through federal Community Development Block Grant funding administered through Marion County Community Services.
