Pampering, portraits fundraiser to benefit PACE Center for Girls

An upcoming fundraiser that will offer participants the opportunity to be pampered and have their photos professionally snapped is coming to a local salon.

The business, Proper Tease Salon, is looking to donate 100% of the proceeds from the event to the PACE Center for Girls.

The fundraiser will take place on Friday, October 18, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the salon, located at 507 SW 1st Ave. The cost to participate is $69 in advance, or $79 at the door.

The event will feature a professional makeup artist, a shampoo and hair blowout, a 15-minute chair massage, and a mini photo session with 1 free 5×7 portrait.

Sushi and other food will be available, and wine will be served.

For those not able to purchase tickets, smaller donations will be accepted, as well as the following items:

  • Clothing (prom dresses appreciated)
  • Hair products
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Backpacks, cosmetic bags
