Those who are interested in doing business with the City of Ocala or taking advantage of contracting opportunities are encouraged to attend an upcoming small business information session.
The Diverse Small Business Enterprise program will be held Tuesday, Feb. 11 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Lillian F. Bryant Community Center, located at 2200 NW 17th Pl. in Ocala. It will be attended by community leaders and other outreach advisers. Those taking part in the seminar will have the opportunity to learn about:
- Ocala’s opportunities for minorities, veterans, women and other diverse small businesses;
- Adding/submitting invoices through cell phone apps;
- How to register as a diverse vendor;
- How to bid on projects; and
- Networking with peers
