An Ocala woman was arrested Wednesday night after being caught on cell phone video battering an elderly woman.
Heidi Ann Jungquist, 51, was charged with aggravated battery on a person 65 years of age or older. Jungquist, who reported the incident, appeared intoxicated to the Marion County sheriff’s deputy who responded. She told the deputy she was hit and thrown to the ground by the victim, according to the sheriff’s office report.
The victim showed the deputy a cell phone video that showed Jungquist approach her and push her. The phone fell to the ground face-up and showed the victim backing up over the phone, with Jungquist continuing to pursue her. On the video, someone could be heard screaming to get out, then saying “ouch” three times, and then crying, the report said.
Based on the video evidence, Jungquist was arrested and taken to the Marion County Jail, where she’s being held on $10,000 bond. She’ll appear in Marion County Court on April 14.
