The Centers Inc. and the Marion County Children’s Alliance will provide free NARCAN to local families in need during a drive-thru event later this month.
The “Recovery in a Bag” event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 5664 SW 60th Ave.
The free distribution of NARCAN, which reverses the effects of an overdose, is part of National Recovery Month, a national observance held every September to educate Americans about substance use treatment and mental health services.
