Local hospital CEO named to serve on College of Central Florida Board of Trustees

The chief executive officer of West Marion Community Hospital has been appointed to the College of Central Florida District Board of Trustees.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis made the appointment of Gabriel Bullaro, who previously served as CEO at Ocala Health. The U.S. Navy veteran has been a member of the American College of Hospital Executives and the Rotary Club of Ocala. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Boston University and his master’s of business administration from Duke University.

“We are pleased to welcome Mr. Bullaro to the CF family,” said Dr. Jim Henningsen, who serves as president of College of Central Florida. “We appreciate that he is willing to help us guide the college with his experience as we continue our focus on providing workforce-ready graduates for our community.”
