Downtown Ocala eatery undergoing ‘major remodel’ in June as new owner takes over

Big changes are coming in June to a popular downtown Ocala restaurant.

A new owner has purchased Pi on Broadway, located at 110 S.W. Broadway St., and plans to begin a “major remodel” in June. The new owner also plans to carry on the things that have made Pi a popular destination, according to a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page.

“Live music, great food and the perfect rooftop atmosphere will still be the staple for years to come!” the post reads.

The eatery will be making changes in May that customers need to be aware of. The kitchen will only be open in a limited capacity for the next two weeks, with pizzas offered from 4-9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. And bar service will be offered Wednesday through Saturday beginning at 4 p.m.

The restaurant also is encouraging Pi customers to stop in and have a drink before the changes get under way.

“Reminisce about all the fun you have had and memories you’ve made over the years,” the Facebook post reads. “And get ready for the next chapter of Pi!”
