With all the growth, I think we need more retail options in Marion Oaks

To the Editor:

Ocala is growing a lot and we need more stores in the southwest part of the city. We need a Target, a Marshall’s, a Ross, a Burlington, a Home Goods, a Dunkin’, and an America’s Best Optical.

They should put the Dunkin’ Donuts at Marion Oaks Boulevard, where ALDI is. We really need one close.

We also need an ice cream shop and a bakery. It is too much of a hassle to take SW Highway 484 to go to the stores so far away. There’s lots of traffic and it’s horrible trying to go to those streets. We need more stores closer by.

There are lots of people moving this way and not enough stores close by. City and county officials: Can you please do something about it?

We also need a new mall this way, like by where they are building the new Publix and the new Walmart.

It is too far to go all the way to SW College Road. Everything that way is ridiculous.
