Portions of N.E. 39th Avenue will soon be closed to accommodate stormwater system improvements.
The roadway, from N.E. Fifth Place to N.E. Seventh Street will be closed beginning Monday, May 24 through Monday, June 7.
All necessary devices will be in place to redirect traffic. Construction will take place Mondays through Fridays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. During construction times, travelers may experience delays, noise, dust and heavy equipment within the project area.
Detour routes include:
- Northbound Detour – Left on N.E. Third Street, right on N.E. 36th Avenue, right on N.E. Seventh Street, back onto N.E. 39th Avenue.
- Southbound Detour – Continue West on N.E. Seventh Street, left on N.E. 36th Avenue, left on N.E. Third Street, back onto N.E. 39th Avenue.
