The Ocala Arts Festival will return a year after a COVID-19 pandemic hiatus, and the organization running the show is looking for artists.
Fine Arts For Ocala (FAFO), which recently hosted the Symphony Under the Stars, will host the 54th installment of the Ocala Arts Festival on Saturday, October 23, and Sunday, October 24, 2021.
All artists and emerging artists are encouraged to apply to participate in the show. To apply, visit the Fine Arts For Ocala application page.
The deadline for all applications is Thursday, July 15, 2021. The show is looking for a minimum of 160 artists, with blind judging to be completed no later than August 9, 2021.
FAFO estimates this year’s two-day event to draw in over 25,000 residents and visitors.
The show’s artists will have a chance to compete for a $5,000 best in show prize, as well as multiple other cash prizes totaling $27,000, including 10 awards of merit and five $1,000 “Emerging Artist” awards, among others.
