Jeremiah Delgado has lived in Florida for over 25 years, moving to the Sunshine State from Chicago, Illinois in 1999, just before his 11th birthday. While living in Winter Springs, Florida, Delgado attended Sanford Middle School. In May 2002, he was inducted into the school’s inaugural “Hall of Fame” class. In May 2006, Delgado graduated from Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in political science from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina in May 2010.
In the summer of 2010, Delgado moved back home with his parents and became a full-time resident of Lake County.
After a few months of working different jobs in the Orlando area, Delgado joined Village Airport Van in 2011, where he worked for the late Dan McCarthy, Sr. That year, Delgado became a resident of Lady Lake, a town he would call home until 2019.
During the Summer of 2013, Delgado met Meta Minton and joined Villages-News.com. The two business partners developed the website into the most-read and most talked-about publication in The Villages, Florida.
In 2017, Delgado and Minton started Ocala-News.com. Delgado moved to Ocala in 2019, when the two also started Leesburg-News.com.
In the Spring of 2021, the two business partners embarked on their fourth website, Orlando-News.com. Delgado moved to downtown Orlando, and the website established a small, but steady, presence.
In 2024, Delgado moved back to Lake County, where he currently resides.
In his free time, Delgado enjoys photography, hanging out with friends and family, running, and crosswords.
