To the Editor:
Do away with parking meters. Living close to The Villages, where there are no parking meters supports their motto “Floridas Friendly Hometown.” Parking Meters are not friendly. Looking at the stats provided, it is not a gold mine for a revenue producer. With new businesses coming to Ocala, the tax revenue would more than make-up for the loss of parking meter revenue. It will bring back the small town feeling Ocala can project.
