A new bicycle mural in the Downtown Ocala area is now complete.
The mural, which was painted by Orlando-based artist SKIP, is displayed on the north-facing façade of the Seminole Feed building at 335 N Watula Avenue. It is adjacent to the Tuscawilla Art Park (225 NE 5th Street).
The new mural was completed by SKIP (Justin Skipper) earlier this month. It features 215 feet of bicycle riders of different ages, genders, nationalities, and abilities painted in a multitude of colors and backgrounds.

The previous mural, which was painted by Hense, was on the wall for five years. Hense is an artist of international renown who has dozens of public art works displayed across the country and world.
The mural is one of a multitude that the city of Ocala and various organizations have invested in recently, including a collection in the Downtown Ocala area.
Last year, Miami-based artist Ernesto Maranje was selected to paint a mural on the Brick City Center for the Arts.

Ocala-based artist Drake Arnold finished both ‘Electromagnetism,’ a mural painted on the Ocala Citizens Service Center, and ‘Life Cycle,” which is displayed in the courtyard of the Brick City Center for the Arts.
