To the Editor:
I recently relocated from Albuquerque, NM. Albuquerque contracted to have scooters available for use in metro areas and found it to be a very poor idea. Abuse, poor rule following, etc caused it to be subsequently discontinued. Before instituting a new policy regarding the provision and use research should be done. Only the scooter companies will be the winner in this endeavor.
