The Human Society of Marion County Florida announced on Facebook that people can help support them while they shop on Amazon.
Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible Amazon Smile purchases to the humane society, according to an HSMC Facebook post.
People can shop AmazonSmile by visiting the website, signing in with their Amazon account and choosing the “Humane Society of Marion County” as their charitable organization.
According to the organization, AmazonSmile currently has over one million registered, eligible organizations. In order to browse or shop at AmazonSmile, all customers must first select a charitable organization.
