The Ocala Recreation and Parks Department will host a Tag Team Flag Football season for children with disabilities beginning Saturday, September 4.
The new series will take place each Saturday through September 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Webb Field, which is located at 1501 W Silver Springs Boulevard.
The Tag Team Flag Football season is designed for children ages 5 and up with disabilities. It will offer them a chance to learn the basics of football, to promote skill development and cooperation, and to meet new friends.
All participants, if needed, will be paired with a buddy so that everyone is able to play. Practice will take place once each week.
The cost to participate is $20 per child, according to the city of Ocala.
