The University of Florida Institute of Food and Agriculture Sciences will host a composting class at the Fort King National Historic Landmark this Saturday.
The class will start at 10 a.m. in the garden of the Fort King National Historic park, which is located at 3925 E Fort King Street.
The group will talk about the importance of soil building and what you will need to do to create your own compost pile.
The program is free to attend and no advanced registration is required.
