A new skydiving facility is operating out of the Marion County Airport in Dunnellon.
Central Florida Skydiving celebrated the grand opening of their new location last month at the airport, which is located at 15094 SW 111th Street in Dunnellon, next to Rainbow River and Crystal River.

According to the company’s social media channels, the Dunnellon location is Florida’s newest USPA certified skydive dropzone.
The organization offers a variety of skydiving services, including tandem jumps, experienced jumps, and classes for those interested in learning how to skydive.
The new location is accessible from all of the region’s major metro areas, including Orlando, Tampa, Ocala, The Villages, Gainesville, Jacksonville, and Tallahassee.

Central Florida Skydiving is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The company also offers night jumps to qualified skydivers with a USPA ‘B’ License and higher.
