An accident in Ocala yesterday afternoon temporarily blocked all eastbound traffic lanes of a stretch of West Silver Springs Boulevard.
On October 19 at around 4:15 p.m., Ocala Fire Rescue responded to an accident at the 2300 block of West Silver Springs Boulevard that closed eastbound lanes from SW 27th Avenue to SW 21st Avenue.
Upon arrival, they discovered a black sedan near a light post, and one individual was on the ground nearby.
A semi-truck was also parked around a block away from the accident.
Crews attended to the individual on the ground, and the patient was trauma alerted to the hospital.
The driver of the semi-truck had no injuries to report.
Ocala Police Department and Marion County Fire Rescue also responded to the accident.
