An Ocala man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 441 in Alachua County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol incident report, on Sunday at around 4:50 a.m., a 60-year-old Ocala man was traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 441 in a 2002 Chrysler minivan.
For unknown reasons, the minivan drifted onto the center grass median around a quarter-mile north of SE 132nd Lane.
The man lost control of the minivan and it overturned. He was transported to UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville.
His name was not released, per FHP policy.
