The road closure on NE 35th Street, between the intersections of NE 36th Avenue and the entrance of Coehadjoe Park (4225 NE 35th Street), has been extended through Thursday, March 31.
The closure is due to emergency repair work at the railroad crossing located east of NE 36th Avenue. Southern Commercial Development, LLC, a subcontractor for CSX Transportation, began the repairs on Friday, March 25, and the work is expected to be completed by Thursday, March 31.
Workers and equipment are located in the County Right-of-Way. Crews have placed barricades and signs to detour traffic around the work zones.
Drivers should avoid this closure area and use alternate routes. Adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances may affect schedules.
