The City of Ocala’s Aquatic Centers will be offering swimming lessons for children between the ages of 3 and 17.
The lessons, which begin on Tuesday, May 24 and run through Thursday, July 28, will be held at Jervey Gantt Aquatic Fun Center (2390 SE 36th Avenue) and Hampton Aquatic Fun Center (255 NW Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard).

Participating children will learn how to swim over six lessons which take place over a two-week period. Students will be placed into groups according to their swimming levels.
The children will learn how to stay safe around water. In order to become efficient swimmers, they will also learn floating, strokes, and additional aquatic skills.
Morning lessons will be held on Tuesdays through Thursdays, from 9:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at both aquatic centers. Evening lessons will also be offered from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Jervey Gantt Aquatic Fun Center only.
There is a cost of $55 per child.
