To the Editor:
I have been driving since I was 16 years old. I had to take Driver’s Education in order to get my license. When it became legal to turn right on red after stopping, people would do just that: stop first and then make their turn.
It is so frustrating to be waiting at a red light and counting 13 consecutive cars rushing by me to make that almighty right turn on red without even slowing down. I have seen people who know better run a red light, turning right without ever slowing down.
Was this law removed from the books and I missed it? If not, why are people acting like they are privileged?
