Candy donations being accepted for Ocala’s Boo Bash Halloween event

The City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department is currently in need of candy donations for its “Boo Bash” Halloween event that will be held later this month at the E.D. Croskey Recreation Center.

This family-friendly event will take place on Monday, October 31, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., and it will provide a safe place for children to go trick-or-treating. In addition to candy, the event will offer a variety of games and spooky activities.

There is no cost to attend the event and all ages are welcome. Those in attendance are encouraged to wear costumes, and any participating children will need to be accompanied by an adult.

The E.D. Croskey Recreation Center is located at 1510 NW 4th Street.

According to the Ocala Recreation and Parks Department, candy donations for the upcoming Boo Bash event will be accepted through Friday, October 28 at the Recreation and Parks Admin office, which is located at 828 NE 8th Avenue in Ocala, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
