In order to accommodate the installation of an electrical conduit, a road closure will be in place along S Magnolia Avenue, from SE Broadway to Fort King Street, on Tuesday, November 15, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The road is expected to reopen the same day, according to the City of Ocala. A detour will be in effect for southbound traffic:
- Left turn on SE Broadway Street, right turn on SE Osceola Avenue, right turn on E Fort King Street, back onto S Magnolia Avenue.
All necessary devices will be in place to redirect pedestrians and vehicle traffic in the area. Construction will occur primarily on Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. During construction times, travelers may experience delays, noise, dust, and heavy equipment within the project areas.
