Ocala firefighters were dispatched to the 1300 block of SE 18th Avenue on Saturday night after receiving reports of a vehicle colliding with a residence.
Ocala Fire Rescue units consisting of Battalion Chief 22, Engine 3, Rescue 3, Squad 7, and a Safety Officer arrived at the residence and observed a blue Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that was lodged between the lawn and the home’s interior.
“Despite the scare no injuries were reported,” stated Ocala Fire Rescue in a social media post.
The driver and sole occupant of the pickup truck was transported to a local hospital for a medical evaluation.
The Ocala Police Department and Marion County Fire Rescue also responded to the scene of the crash.
