The City of Ocala’s business offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.
Due to the holiday, there will also be no residential collection for sanitation, yard waste, or recycling routes on Tuesday, July 4.
Residential sanitation collection that is regularly scheduled for Tuesday, July 4 through Thursday, July 6 will experience a one-day delay and will instead be collected on Wednesday, July 5 through Friday, July 7.
Additionally, Waste Pro recycling collection for City of Ocala residents that is regularly scheduled for Tuesday, July 4 through Thursday, July 6 will instead take place on Wednesday, July 5 through Friday, July 7.
The SunTran bus system will be closed for operations on Tuesday, July 4. All regularly scheduled routes will resume on Wednesday, July 5, from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
