A driver was hospitalized on Tuesday afternoon following a single-vehicle crash with rollover on NW 21st Street in Ocala.
At around 4:45 p.m., Marion County Fire Rescue units were dispatched to the 7200 block of NW 21st Street in reference to a crash that had just occurred. According to MCFR, Deputy Chief of Operations Robert Graff was the first to arrive on scene, and he established command.

Additional MCFR units consisting of Engine 20 and Rescue 20 arrived on scene at 4:50 p.m., and crew members observed a vehicle that had come to a rest on its roof with the driver still inside.

Firefighters began extricating the driver shortly before 5 p.m., and the driver was freed from the wreckage in less than five minutes.


The driver was transported to a local hospital as a trauma alert for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. No further details were provided regarding the cause of the accident.
The name, age, and gender of the driver was not released by Marion County Fire Rescue.
