Since 1996, Kimberly’s Center (also known as the Marion County Children’s Advocacy Center) has served children in Marion County who have been abused and neglected. The donation from the Perry family will help further the nonprofit’s mission of responding to, protecting, and restoring children who have suffered from abuse and neglect, so they can get the help, hope, and healing that they need.

“We are so grateful and moved by the generous spirit of the Perry family for entrusting their donation to support our work to help our children heal from the trauma of abuse and neglect,” stated Dawn Westgate, Kimberly Center’s Executive Director. “Gifts such as this are an inspiration to all who work in the nonprofit sector.”

The Kimberly’s Center, which is located at 2800 NE 14th Street in Ocala, provides services to around 1,400 children in Marion County each year.
