Marion County Chairman to deliver final 2023 State of County Address

Marion County Commission Chairman Craig Curry is hosting the State of the County Address at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26 at the Circle Square Cultural Center located in On Top of the World.

The one-hour presentation is free to attend and open to the public. It will cover various news and updates about Marion County government, recent accomplishments, and priorities for the coming days, weeks, months, and years.

The initial State of the County Address was held in May at the CEP Exceptional Breakfast, and a second presentation took place on Monday, July 24 at Del Webb Spruce Creek. This Wednesday’s presentation will be the final one for the year.

During the State of the County Address, the chairman will provide details on Marion County’s current priorities and plans for the future. In addition, the presentation will include videos from all county commissioners discussing several major priorities in Marion County, such as public safety, veterans, tourism, roadways, and the “No Horsin’ Around With Marion” anti-litter initiative.
