A local entrepreneur is giving away a free hot dog with every order during his debut at the Ocala Downtown Market.
G & F Concessions, LLC will celebrate its debut at the Ocala Downtown Market on Sunday, August 27, at 12 p.m. during Woofstock, a dog food drive event.
According to the company, a free hot dog will be given out with every order while supplies last.
“We are so excited to have our grand opening at Ocala Downtown Market during Woofstock,” reads a social media post from the company referring to the dog food drive event.
According to company records, the business was founded in June 2023, and it is managed by David and Justin Gallett of Dunnellon and William Fowler of Floral City.
Although the food truck has operated at various locations around the tri-county area, the business is making its debut at the downtown market, which is located at 403 SE Osceola Avenue.
The food truck specializes in southern comfort food, with offerings of smothered pork chops, Salisbury steak, and smothered grilled chicken. The truck also sells cheeseburgers, all-beef hotdogs, chicken sandwiches, and meatloaf sandwiches.
In addition to the food truck, the business recently began offering catering services for private events, weddings, and bars.
