A new card room in Ocala will feature dozens of tables with Las Vegas-style games including Texas Hold-Em Poker.
Ocala Bets is currently gearing up for its grand opening at 1781 SW 60th Avenue later this summer. Located at the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company, the new room is in the midst of hiring and training dealers and staff.
The full-service card room will feature games like Ultimate Texas Hold ’em, 3-card poker, Face Up Pai Gow, and DJ Wild, among others. The facility will also feature intertrack wagering.
In addition to the card room, Ocala Bets will also feature a full-service bar and a restaurant.
The business is currently asking those who are interested in a career in the gaming industry, as well as anyone who wants to work in their kitchen, to apply. It says dealers of all skill levels are welcome.
The card room joins two others that are located in the tri-county area, including Oxford Downs and the Ocala Gainesville Poker & Jai Alai, which is located in Orange Lake.
When it opens, Ocala Bets will operate seven days a week. Hours have not yet been released for the location.
