Local residents needed for Ocala/Marion County tourism campaigns

The Ocala/Marion County Visitors and Convention Bureau is inviting residents to an open casting opportunity to be part of marketing and advertising campaigns that will highlight the area as a tourism and vacation destination.

The open casting will take place on Wednesday, October 4, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Ocala/Marion County Visitors and Convention Bureau, which is located at 109 W Silver Springs Boulevard in Ocala.

The visitors and convention bureau, in partnership with Digital Fury, LLC and Maven Photo + Film, is seeking individuals to represent the campaign’s target audiences, including families, singles, and couples of all ages.

The project is committed to inclusive casting, so families and couples may be split up to meet needs.

No previous experience is necessary, but those who are interested should be open to participating in activities such as kayaking, horseback riding, and zip lining.

When arriving for the casting call, a temporary parking pass will be provided for the Ocala/Marion County Visitors and Convention Bureau lot. In the event that the parking lot is full, additional parking will be available in the courthouse parking garage.

Interested residents can click here to fill out a casting call survey.
